Leonard Lopate and Jonathan Schwartz are going off-air for good.
Two weeks after the duo have been suspended pending investigation, WNYC introduced that the pair have been fired from New York Public Radio.
Lopate hosted the Leonard Lopate Present for 32 years. Schwartz hosted The Jonathan Channel and likewise had a weekly music present on Sundays.
In line with the outlet, two separate outdoors investigations discovered that each Lopate and Schwartz acted in a means that straight violated NYPR’s “requirements for offering an inclusive, applicable, and respectful work atmosphere.”
