“America’s Subsequent Prime Mannequin” winner Nyle DiMarco’s subsequent job shall be a Broadway producer.
The 28-year-old mannequin, actor, “Dancing with the Stars” champ and deaf activist from Queens joins the manufacturing workforce of the upcoming revival of the drama “Kids of a Lesser God.”
“I’m so thrilled to affix this gifted group of producers on a mission that’s extremely vital and private to me,” stated DiMarco, who’s deaf, in a press release.
Mark Medoff’s 1980 Tony Award-winning play issues the skilled and private relationship between James Leeds and his deaf former scholar, Sarah Norman.
Joshua Jackson (“The Affair”) and “Lauren Ridloff” (Wonderstruck) lead the revival starting previews March 22 at Studio 54.
The 1986 film adaptation starred William Damage and Marlee Matlin, who gained an Oscar for her efficiency.
