Considered one of music’s greatest names is co-producing the “Black Panther” soundtrack.
Kendrick Lamar will workforce up with Anthony Tiffith — the CEO of High Dawg Leisure — to create the musical accompaniment to the extremely anticipated superhero film starring Chadwick Boseman, Marvel introduced Thursday.
“The magnitude of this movie showcases an amazing marriage of artwork and tradition,” Lamar stated in a press launch. “I am really honored to contribute my data of manufacturing sound and writing music alongside Ryan and Marvel’s imaginative and prescient.”
The rapper, 30, launched his first single from the film — a collaboration with fellow artist SZA referred to as “All of the Stars” — on Thursday.
Lamar will write, produce and carry out songs on the soundtrack in what would be the first time he is ever achieved so for a significant film.

“I’m honored to be working with such an unbelievable artist whose work has been so inspirational, and whose inventive themes align with these we discover within the movie. I can not watch for the world to listen to what Kendrick and TDE have in retailer,” the movie’s director Ryan Coogler stated.
The soundtrack is formally titled “Black Panther: The Album.”
“Black Panther” facilities on T’Challa (Boseman), the king of a fictional African nation, Wakanda, who should defend his individuals from evil after he obtains tremendous energy.
The movie hits theaters on Feb. 16.
