A rushing driver deliberately struck and killed younger newlyweds as they held arms on an Idaho sidewalk, authorities say.
Jason Verwer, 37, was charged this week with two counts of second-degree homicide within the Fruitland slaying of Matthew Parkinson, 22, and his 17-year-old spouse Amelia.
