Alexis Miles of St. Helena Island was named to the president's list for the fall 2012 semester at Georgia Southern University. To be eligible for the president's list, a student must have at least a 4.0 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.
Rachel Osborn of Beaufort was named to the merit list for the 2012 fall semester at Piedmont Technical College. The merit list recognizes students who are attending part-time and have earned a term GPA of 3.75 or better.
Sydney Boggs of Beaufort was named to Greensboro College's dean's list for the fall 2012 academic semester. Students who qualified were degree-seeking undergraduates who completed at least six non-repeated course hours with a term grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
