Kara and Paul Bopp of Spartanburg announce the birth of twins, Elena Noel and Derek Francis Bopp, at 12:36 p.m. and 12:59 p.m. Jan. 25 at Mary Black Hospital. The newborn weighed 5 pounds, 9 ounces, and measured 18 inches; and 5 pounds, 11 ounces, and measured 19 inches. They have a brother, Ryan, 8, and a sister, Katelyn, 4. Maternal grandparents are Laura and Frank Hrubi of Hilton Head Island. Paternal grandparents are Noel and Terrence Bopp of Pelham, N.Y.

Christa Gilger and Brandon Gay of Bluffton announce the birth of a daughter, Michaela Dawn Gay, at 10:20 a.m. Jan. 30 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. The newborn weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and measured 18.5 inches.

CHASE GOLLIHUGH

Kelly and Seth Gollihugh of Beaufort announce the birth of a son, Chase Rivers Gollihugh, at 3:45 p.m. Dec. 27 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. The newborn weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces, and measured 20.75 inches. He has a brother, Brian, 13, and three sisters, Reyna, 12, Paige, 9, and Kyla, 10. Maternal grandparents are Rosalea and Earl Rivers of Troy, Ala. Paternal grandparents are Cheryl and Thomas Gollihugh of Beaufort.
