Looking for ideas to improve your home or garden? Find thousands of ideas this weekend at the 13th annual Low Country Home & Garden Show at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center in Savannah.
The event kicks off Friday and continues through 5 p.m. Sunday. Not sure which day to attend? Admission to the event is good for the entire weekend and the first 100 show attendees each day will receive a free plant courtesy of Tim and Dave's Nursery.
The event promises something for everyone -- from the expert to the DIY-er. Hundreds of landscape and gardens ideas will be on display and booths will offer tips, information and home and garden services.
For those looking for ideas to update the inside of their homes, booths will feature the latest trends in kitchens, bathrooms and interior design. For individuals seeking inspiration for updating the outside, booths will be on hand modeling pools, spas, hardscapes, landscapes and garden features. There also will be complimentary gourmet food and wine tastings by Meinhardt Vineyards and a kid zone.
In addition to booths, there will be free home and garden seminars all weekend. Get expert advice from Roger Hazard, a designer on A&E's "Sell This House." Hazard's knowledge of architecture and innovative eye for landscaping have made him a renaissance man among designers. Hazard has been featured in In Style magazine, Newsweek and The New York Times. He has worked on celebrity homes and restaurants to staging television sets and numerous interiors. Hazard will show audiences how to create an inviting environment without having to break the bank.
The Low Country Home & Garden Show is open from 2 to 7 p.m. on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
