RUN WITH THE RAVENS 3 MILE RESOLUTION RUN: What: Second annual Run with the Ravens 3-Mile Resolution Run; When: 3:30 p.m., Jan. 20; Where: Pinckney Colony fields, Bluffton; Cost: $10 per runner/walker; Notes: The run/health walk raises money for St. Gregory the Great Catholic School. Strollers allowed. First 300 participants receive a SGGCS water bottle. There are refreshments, music and door prizes. Prizes will be awarded to top three overall males and females. HILTON HEAD HALF MARATHON: What: 11th annual Hilton Head Island Half Marathon, 10K and 5K; When: 8 a.m. Feb. 9; Where: Jarvis Creek Park, Hilton Head Island; Notes: A percentage of proceeds will benefit the Hilton Head Rotary Club, Hilton Head High School athletics and NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). Free Toddler Trot for kids 8 and under. The half marathon will take runners over the Cross Island bridge. Gift cards and prizes will be awarded for the top three male and female overall finishers.
