Palmetto Hall Plantation Club on Hilton Head Island will host the eGolf Professional Tour's season-opening event for the fourth straight year. The Palmetto Hall Championship presented by Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa will be held Feb. 14-17.

A field of 216 players is expected to compete for an estimated purse of $173,502.

The first two rounds will be split between the Cupp and Hills courses before the field is cut. The final two rounds will be played on the Cupp Course.

Nine players on the eGolf Tour in 2012 earned their 2013 PGA Tour cards, including Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy product Morgan Hoffman.

Hilton Head Island's Chris Epperson tied for 10th in last year's event, which was won by former Clemson standout Brent Delahoussaye.

In 2011, Corey Nagy beat Savannah's Brian Harman in a playoff when the event was called the Swiftwick Shootout. Russell Knox won the event in 2010.
