HELPING HANDS
The SADD Club is collecting holiday card fronts for St. Jude's Children's Ranch card recycling program. All card fronts except Disney, Hallmark and American Greetings can be recycled. Drop cards off in the front office. The SADD Club is also participating in the National Souper Bowl of Caring. Drop off cans of any kind of soup at the school front office from now until Super Bowl Sunday. The soup will be donated to local charities. The club aims to collect 200 cans. The SADD Club also is collecting used jeans for the Teens for Jeans program. Drop off jeans in the front office.

Java with Julie Corner, the head of school, will be Thursday. Corner will
be available all day for drop-in conversations.

HELPING HANDS

New student applications for the 2013-14 school years are now available. Families with students in kindergarten through eighth grade can find applications online at www.riverviewcharterschool.org, at the school, at the Wardle Family YMCA, at Boys & Girls Clubs in Beaufort and Bluffton, and at Beaufort County Library branches in Beaufort, Bluffton, Lobeco and St. Helena. Tours of the school are available at 11 a.m. every Wednesday. An open house also will be held at 6 p.m. Jan 17. Applications are due by 6 p.m. Jan. 31.
