A recent letter writer bases his opinion of John Kerry on "Unfit for Command," a very controversial book written by John O'Neill and Jerome Corsi.

O'Neill founded Swift Vets and POWs for Truth and denied Corsi was a co-author.

Many of the men who served in Vietnam with Kerry denied they were interviewed for the book and provided a point-by-point rebuttal of the book's allegations.

Kerry is a highly respected U.S. Senator and deserves his appointment by the president to be secretary of state.

Your letter writer should update his reading list with a book of nonfiction instead of the nonsense put forth in "Unfit for Command."
