The Hilton Head Island library will offer an iPad basics class at 2 p.m. Jan. 22.

The class is designed for new iPad users and will cover navigation, apps and using the library's ebook system. Attendees must bring their own iPad. The class is free but registration is required.

The library is at 11 Beach City Road.
