Beaufort Academy will hold an alumni basketball game Sunday at the school.
Game time is 4 p.m. and admission is free.
Bethany Byrne, the school's director of communications, said this is the sixth year Beaufort Academy has had an alumni game of some sort, and fundraising isn't the goal.
"Nope. It's really just that we love to have our alumni back on campus," Byrne said. "This is just a fun way to get together."
And it's not just the students that return.
"It's really neat how many parents of alumni come back," Byrne said. "It's hard. We're a pre-K-through-12 school, so parents spend 10 to 15 years of their life coming hear. And then they just stop coming."
Players this year include Framp Harper (1985), Michael Bible (2012), Andy Cheung (2006), Kyle Cheung (2009), Nathan Cheung (2012), Chris Conefry (coach), Bill Dalton (faculty), Chris Ernestine (2009), Parker Grant (2007), Jack Griffith (2012), Leif Koppernaes (2011), Jordan Littleford (2012), Ted Malinowski (2009), Richard Malinowski (2008), Ben Post (2010), Thor Rhodin (2004), Patrick Walker (2011), Steven Walker (2007) and Josh Wegmann (2006).
Carl Harper (1987) will act as referee.
Byrne said the school gets volunteer officials and trainers, and all expenses are covered by a single sponsor. This year's sponsor is Mikell, Weidner, Wegmann & Harper, LLC.
