The elections are over. Millions of Americans are happy, while other millions are sad.

As a World War II Veteran, I am worried about the changes I have seen occurring and the movement in a direction away from the principles on which our country was founded. The election results for me brings to mind something Abraham Lincoln said and I quote:

"America will never be destroyed from outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."
