Warrants have been issued for a man who authorities believe shot himself in the calf at a Hilton Head Island bar at about 3 a.m. Saturday morning.

Although a resident living near Simmon's Fish Camp, 11 Simmons Road, told police she heard more than a dozen shots, a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office official said the only injury reported was a self inflicted one.

No other details about the man or the incident were released because incident reports were not finished, the official said late Saturday.
