Donations from tours of the Carolina Living style house in Palmetto Bluff have raised $38,396 for two local charities.

Bluffton Self Help and the Bluffton Boys & Girls Club each received $19,198, according to a Palmetto Bluff news release.

The style house was a collaboration of Palmetto Bluff, Coastal Living magazine, J Banks Design Group, and Shoreline Construction and Development. For nine weeks, the home was opened for tours with more than 3,700 people donating money for the charities.
