BEAUFORT SPORTFISHING AND DIVING CLUB MEETING: When: Nov. 8; Where: Beaufort Yacht and Sailing Club, Lady's Island; Time: Social at 6:30 p.m., meeting at 7 p.m.; Notes: Al Stokes, general manager of the Waddell Mariculture Center, will be the guest speaker. He will give a presentation on the history of the Waddell Center and its future plans. The Waddell Center is preparing to host its annual "Taste of Waddell" celebration on Nov. 11. HOSPITAL AUXILIARY INVITATIONAL: What: 26th annual Hospital Auxiliary Invitational presented by the Corkern Group; When: Dec. 10-11; Where: Harbour Town Golf Links and Wexford Golf Club, Hilton Head Island; Cost: $250 per player; Notes: Cost includes prizes, food and beverage each day and an awards ceremony. Net proceeds benefit the Auxiliary at Hilton Head Hospital and will be used to provide medical and nursing scholarships, and prescription medicine for those in need. All pre-registered racers will receive a commemorative shirt and be entered into a prize raffle. Awards to top 3 overall runners, and participation medals for everyone. JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS REGISTRATION: What: PTI/USTA fall and winter team competition; Who: Tennis players of any ability from ages 10 to 18; Notes: Children are put into age groups to compete as singles, doubles or mixed doubles.
