Hargray Communications' Caring Coins Foundation announced $68,000 in new donations Monday.

The grants were made possible by customers who opt to round up their Hargray bills and donate the spare change to the foundation. The foundation recently reached the $2 million mark in donations.

Grant recipients are Back Pack Buddies, $3,000; Bluffton Historical Preservation Society, $2,500; Bluffton Self Help, $7,000; Community First, $1,000; Island House, $2,000; Literacy Volunteers of the Lowcountry, $3,000; Lowcountry Legal Volunteers, $5,500; Meals on Wheels, $9,000; Med-I-Assist, $2,500; Memory Matters, $5,000; NAMI, $3,000; Pregnancy Center & Clinic of the Lowcountry, $4,000; Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, $5,000; Sandlewood Community Food Pantry, $2,000; Second Helpings, $9,000; Resource Foundation for Jasper County Disabilities, $2,000; Volunteers in Medicine, $2,500.
