Sun City Hilton Head announced Friday that Damon Williams will be its new executive director.

Williams has been assistant executive director of the community since January 2011.

He has also served as director of common area maintenance for the community and has experience in golf course management at several courses throughout South Carolina. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia (Wise) with a degree in business and public administration.
