The Dove Street Festival of Lights benefiting The Deep Well Project will be held Tuesday through Jan. 1 in the Dove Street area of North Forest Beach on Hilton Head Island.
The public is invited to walk, drive or take a trolley through the light display. More than 50 beach-side homes participate in the annual event.
The trolley departs from Rita's Italian Ice in Coligny Plaza beginning at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Dec. 11 to 26. Donations to Deep Well can be made by stopping by "The Well" by Rita's. Nonperishable food items and unwrapped holiday toys will be accepted. Financial donations also may be made at www.deepwellproject.org.
Live entertainment will be held every Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. at "The Well." Kids' Nights will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 12 and 19, featuring Yostie the Puppeteer, arts and crafts, and entertainment in Coligny Plaza.
