The second suspect charged in the Sept. 6 shooting death of a Lady's Island man has been captured in North Carolina after he was found hiding under a kitchen sink.

Walter Travoy Tucker, 28, was arrested in Buncombe County, N.C., on Friday after two weeks on the run, Buncombe County Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Randy Sorrells said in a news release. Tucker was tracked down through tips and information provided to several U.S. Marshal Service districts, a marshal working in the western district of North Carolina said Saturday. The arrest was made in southern Asheville, N.C., according to the marshal, who asked not to be identified for security reasons.

Tucker was wanted on murder, kidnapping and armed robbery charges in connection with the death of Quantize Greer, 22, who was killed at Taylor's Mobile Home Park in Burton in a brazen daylight shooting.

Another suspect, Brandon Adron Singleton, 28, of Seabrook, was arrested the day after the shooting and remains in the Beaufort County Detention Center. He, too, faces murder, kidnapping and armed robbery charges.

Beaufort County Sheriff's Office deputies said just after the shooting that they believe the incident was drug-related.

It is the second time Tucker, a rapper also known as Oowee, has faced a murder charge.

He pleaded guilty to a 2008 murder in Miami and was sentenced to four years in prison, according to Miami-Dade County court records. Those records show he was released in February.

Two other men were arrested with Tucker in North Carolina Friday. Both were charged with obstructing justice for allegedly attempting to hide Tucker, the news release said.

One of the men was identified as Dana Lawrence Alexander, 24, who said he was Tucker's brother. The other man was identified as 29-year-old Perry Duwan Pemberton. Hometowns for either men were unavailable late Saturday.

Tucker is being held in the Buncombe County Detention Facility until his extradition to South Carolina, Sorrells said.
