A man charged in connection with the fatal shooting this month of 8-year-old Khalil Singleton has waived his bond hearing and so has his father, who was also involved in the feud that led to the boy's death, according to the 14th Circuit Solicitor's Office.
Aaron Scott Young Sr. and Aaron Scott Young Jr. will remain in jail until they request to have bond set, according to Solicitor's Office spokesman Daniel Brownstein.
Young Jr., 19, is charged with murder, discharging a firearm at a vehicle and conspiracy to commit murder. Young Sr., 36, is charged with discharging a firearm at a vehicle and conspiracy to commit murder.
Tyrone Robinson, 37, also charged with murder in Khalil's death, was denied bond Monday. Young Jr. and Young Sr. are accused of conspiring to kill Robinson.
All three men have been in custody since the Sept. 1 gun battle.
