The Blood Alliance and Hondasforless.net has announced that Martha "Sam" Cowan of Beaufort won a 2012 Honda Civic LX.

Cowan's name was among more than 80,000 entered in the promotion after they gave blood.

Cowan will be presented with the car at 11:15 a.m. Thursday at the Blood Alliance at Beaufort at 1001 Boundary St.
