Three incumbents intend to run again for Beaufort City Council.
Mayor Billy Keyserling and councilmen Mike McFee and George O'Kelley Jr. have submitted statements of candidacy and economic interest and paid the filing fees: $150 for council and $250 for mayor.
The filing period opened Monday and runs until Aug. 15 for the Nov. 6 election. No one else has filed yet, according to city clerk Ivette Burgess.
City Council has five nonpartisan members: a mayor and four council members. All members are elected at-large. They serve four-year terms. Council members receive an annual stipend of $4,800, and the mayor $6,000.
