The museum, at City Hall at 1911 Boundary St., is one of more than 1,800 museums nationwide providing free admission from Memorial Day to Labor Day to military members.
The museum opened May 19 and a volunteer-driven organization still is setting up exhibits. Admission for everyone is free until July 13.
The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.
