The Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority is recognizing National Drinking Water Week with its annual customer-appreciation event, which started Monday and runs through the end of the week.
Customers are invited to stop by at the BJWSA administrative building at 6 Snake Road in Okatie for light refreshments. Staff members also will be available to answer questions about BJWSA and the area's drinking water. Activities begin daily at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m.
To learn more about where BJWSA's drinking water comes from and how it is treated, watch a short video at bjwsa.org/about/videos.html.
