The S.C. House approved a bill Wednesday that would ban texting while driving. According to AAA, distracted driving causes as many as 8,000 crashes a day, and 87 percent of those polled said they support the ban. After one more procedural vote, the bill moves to the state Senate, where it could face strong opposition; a similar bill failed there two years ago
