Fox News correspondent Jennifer Griffin, who covers the Pentagon for the cable news network, has agreed to emcee the third annual Lt. Dan Band concert in Beaufort, according to a news release.

The event is scheduled for Sept. 14 in Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park.

The concert features actor Gary Sinise's 13-piece Lt. Dan Band and benefits severely injured veterans from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
