La Isla, a Hilton Head Island-based, Spanish-language magazine, took top honors in several categories at the National Association of Hispanic Publications 2011 awards show in Las Vegas, including a gold award for outstanding design for its December 2010 issue. The awards are the most prestigious Hispanic media prizes in the country, according to a news release.
