Texas-based Group 1 Automotive has acquired Hilton Head BMW on U.S. 278 in Bluffton.

The acquisition is expected to generate $45 million in annual revenues for Group 1, according the automotive retailer.

Group 1 owns and operates 111 dealerships, 143 franchises and 28 collision centers in the United States and United Kingdom.
